Things You'll Need
Instructions
Turn your PlayStation 2 off and unplug the power cable. Turn the system around, so the rear is facing you.
Remove the expansion bay cover by depressing the upper clip. Attach the network adapter to the expansion bay, lining up the card slots with the Ethernet port closest to the rear fan.
Tighten the network adapter. Use a flat head screwdriver (or a coin) to tighten the two screws on the back of the adapter.
Attach the Ethernet cable from your router to the port on the back of your PS2 network adapter (labeled "Network.")
If using a standard phone line, connect the phone cord to the port labeled "Line." Connect the other end to the wall outlet.
Plug in your PS2 power cord, turn the system on and insert the network adapter software disc. This disk will guide you through the process of setting up your Internet Connection (and registering for a PS Network account--required to play online games).
