How to Access PS2 Online Accounts

The PlayStation Network allows PS2 (PlayStation 2) and PS3 (PlayStation 3) users to play games online with others across the world. If you want to access your PlayStation Network online account, you can do so from any computer with an Internet connection. You can make changes to your account once you access it. The process is the same for PS2 and PS3 users; both systems operate on the PlayStation Network.

  Visit the official Sony PlayStation website (http://www.playstation.com).

  Click on "PlayStation Network," and then click "Log In."

  Enter your PS2 PlayStation Network user name (don't use your gamer tag; use your email address).

  Enter your password (the same password used to connect to the PlayStation Network from your PS2). Click "Sign In."

  Wait until you are redirected to your account management screen. From this screen, you can make changes to your account (including your billing information, user name and gamer tag).
