How to Copy PS2 Data

If your buddy's figured out a game and you want to see how he did it, try copying his PS2 data. The process of copying game data from a primary memory card to secondary memory card only takes a few minutes.

Things You'll Need

2 Memory cards
1 Controller

Instructions

  Turn on your PS2. Make sure that main menu displays on the screen.

  Select "Browser" from the menu and press the key with the "X" on it.

  Insert the memory card with the game's data that you want to copy into the main memory card slot. Choose the memory card's icon from the on the screen and press the "X" key. Select the game data's icon and press the "X" key again.

  Move down to "Copy" and press the "X" key.

  Get the second memory card onto which you would like to copy data. Insert it into the second memory card slot and select the icon for the second memory card and press the "X" key. Confirm your desire to copy the data by selecting "Yes" and pressing the "X" key.

  Complete the copying. Wait for a message that confirms a successful copy.

  Press the key with the "O" on it to return to the main menu.
