How to Kill a Lucky Mink

The lucky mink is a rabbit-like creature in "Grandia III" for the Sony PlayStation 2. The creature only has 18 health points (HP), but each hit delivered to it takes away between zero and one HP, which makes the lucky mink a challenging opponent to defeat. Perseverance pays off because you earn 16,384 experience points for each lucky mink you kill. You'll find these creatures in levels 11 through 14 of the game.

Instructions

  Use Unama's Orb to freeze time during battle with a lucky mink. Because a lucky mink tends to run away when when attacked, this gives you time to inflict as many hits as possible before it can move.

  Select combination commands during battle to inflict as many hits to the lucky mink as possible, lowering its HP level more quickly. Some multi-hit skills that are effective in fighting the lucky mink include Galactic Bang and Heaven's Gate. Yuki's Blade Storm also works well against the creature.

  Continue inflicting as many combo hits as possible while time is frozen with Unama's Orb. If Berserker is maxed out, use Flash if you are playing as Yuki or Shadow Warrior if you are playing as Ulf to lower a lucky mink's HP so you can kill it faster.
