How to Make Friends in Yu-Gi-Oh GX

You can make friends with characters on "Yu-Gi-Oh GX: The Beginning of Destiny" game for PlayStation 2. In order to make friends and get a character to be partners with you, you have to accumulate hearts. The more hearts that you have, the better chance you have at being accepted as a friend. You will also need to use your character's charisma and skill to obtain friendships. Once you become a master of receiving friends, you will be able to increase your trust with characters via conversation and duel with the anime characters.

  Purchase a variety of sandwiches. Each duelist likes a different type of sandwich. Purchase sandwiches at the store.

  Buy a sandwich called the "Golden Egg" once a day. The "Golden Egg" automatically gives you a heart with any character when you give them the sandwich.

  Scrutinize what each character loves. Jaden loves pretty much anything except for destiny sandwiches. Chazz loves caviar sandwiches, truffle sandwiches and foie gras sandwiches. Syrus loves seafood sandwiches. Alexis loves chocolate sandwiches and vegetable or fruit sandwiches. Zane loves the plain sandwiches. However, each character loves the golden egg sandwich.

  Build rapport with the characters by having Pharaoh, the cat, follow you. This will help the characters to be more willing to be your friend or to duel with you. Give the cat a sandwich to get him to follow you. When you talk to someone, you'll automatically get the best reactions from the characters.
