How to Use Action Replay With Swap Magic

Swap Magic software is used to play backup copies -- burned copies of video game discs -- of PlayStation 2 games, which you can use in conjunction with your Action Replay software. There is no special trick to using the Action Replay software to cheat on your backup copies, but you must use each piece of software -- the Action Replay disc, Swap Magic disc and burned game disc -- in the proper order.

Instructions

  Load your Action Replay software into the PlayStation 2 and allow it to load to the home menu. Go to the Cheats menu and pick the game you are about to play, then choose the codes you want to use for that game.

  Insert your Swap Magic disc when you are prompted to load the game disc. Wait for the Swap Magic screen to load.

  Eject the Swap Magic disc when you are prompted to switch discs. Load your backup copy of the game into the PS2, then press "X" on your controller to load the game.
