How to Use Secret Moves in Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2

"Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2," released for the PlayStation 2 in 2007, is a one-on-one fighting game based on the popular "Naruto" anime series. In addition to a standard repertoire of attacks, each fighter can perform one of three Secret Techniques--powerful moves used to cause large amounts of damage to an opponent's life. The Secret Technique your character performs is determined by how much of the Secret Technique meter, the purple meter under your character's health bar in the top left corner of the screen, is filled. The meter is divided into three sections--filling more sections allows for stronger Secret Technique attacks.

Instructions

  Press and hold "Triangle" at any time during the fight. Your character glows as the Secret Technique meter fills.

  Press "Square" to activate your secret technique when at least one section of the bar is filled. For your character's strongest Secret Technique, fill all three sections of the bar.

  Press the button in the lower left hand corner of the screen repeatedly to increase the amount of damage the move causes. For example, a rapidly flashing "Square" icon means you must press the "Square" button rapidly. The button you must press varies based on the Secret Technique. After a few seconds of pressing the button, the Secret Technique is performed automatically.
