How to Steal a LSPD Helicopter from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for Xbox

One of the many vehicles that you can use in "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" for the Xbox is a helicopter. This isn't just any ordinary helicopter, however --- it is a Los Santos Police Department helicopter. If you have your heart set on stealing one of these helicopters, you will first have to make it appear and then try carefully to steal it without getting injured or being killed.

Instructions

  Obtain a six-star wanted level. Your wanted level gradually increases as you complete criminal acts within the world of "San Andreas." To quickly raise your wanted level, cause as much havoc as you can. Attempting to steal a police car and using grenades to blow up parked cars can quickly raise your wanted level. Helicopters will begin to immediately circle your location as you reach six stars.

  Wait for the LSPD helicopter to land. This likely will not happen right away, so you may have to wait upward of 10 minutes. Stay out of sight --- go into a building or take cover and stay in one place, and avoid being killed by the police officers who are also attempting to arrest you.

  Run up to the LSPD helicopter once it is on the ground. Press the "Y" button to get into the helicopter and steal it.
