How to Get the Red Crystal in the Notre Dame Part in Onimusha Demon Siege 3

As you progress through "Onimusha 3: Demon Siege," you come across special treasure boxes with puzzles you must solve in order to open them. These typically contain crystals, talismans and other unique items you wouldn't find in regular treasure boxes. If you open all of the puzzle treasure boxes in the game, you unlock a secret area at the end of the game. You find a red Oni Crystal in the first puzzle box you find in the Notre Dame area.

Instructions

  Enter Notre Dame and walk toward the altar. Look at the right side of the altar and interact with it--say "Yes" to open a passageway to the underground crypt.

  Enter the crypt and proceed into the next room through the door directly ahead of you. Dodge the spinning blades in the floor and wait in the alcove until you can safely run past them. Head into the alcove with the statue, then push the statue over to keep the blades from moving. This also raises a gate in the area and releases some enemies.

  Defeat the enemies in the room, then head west until you find a puzzle box. Interact with it to display the puzzle on your screen. There are a total of twelve squares on the puzzle. Mentally number the squares so that the ones on top are one through four from left to right, the middles ones are five through eight and so on.

  Move the seventh tile over to the eighth spot, the sixth tile over to the seventh spot, the tenth tile up to the sixth spot, the eleventh tile to the tenth spot, the twelfth tile to the eleventh spot and the eighth tile to the twelfth spot to solve the puzzle. You are rewarded with a red Oni Crystal for solving the puzzle.
