How to Create a PKG File on a PS3

.Pkg is a file type used on the Sony PlayStation network. If you have a Jailbroken PlayStation 3, you can create your own .pkg files using a programed named PS3FOXX-Gui. A Jailbroken PlayStation 3 is a console with custom firmware installed. .Pkg files are encrypted and can only be read by PlayStation 3s. Creating .pkg files will allow you to create backup copies of games you already own. As a warning, creating copies of games you do not own is illegal, and should not be attempted.
