How to Hook Up Component Input to a PS3

The PlayStation 3 (PS3) supports multiple video output options to satisfy any television, from the standard definition composite output to high-definition HDMI outputs. The console also offers component cable compatibility. Component cables (which are sold separately) offer high-quality audio and video output, transmitting up to 1080i resolution. Connect the cable to your console and TV to start your high-definition gaming.
