How to Read an ELF File on a PS3

Executable and Linkable Formatted files are the primary file format for PlayStation 2 games. Although there are several versions of the PlayStation 3, only certain PS3 consoles can play discs in the ELF format. The original 60GB and 80GB PS3s have complete backward compatibility with PlayStation 2 games. You don't have to be a gaming enthusiast or an electronics expert to play ELF files on your PlayStation 3, but you do need the right console.
