How to Create a Clan Tag in Black Ops for the PS3

In the "Call of Duty: Black Ops" multiplayer mode, players have the ability to create four-character clan tags to go in front of their names. Clan tags can be used to set a group of players apart from the rest and they can also be used to show creativity as many different characters are available for use. If you own the PS3 version of "Call of Duty: Black Ops," create your clan tag by going into the game's multiplayer settings.

  Load the "Call of Duty: Black Ops" game disc in your PS3 console and select "Multiplayer" from the main menu.

  Choose "Online," select "Player Match," and then select the "Playercard" option from the next menu.

  Select "Clan Tag" from the Playercard menu and then choose "Edit Clan Tag."

  Select the desired characters for your clan tag from the on-screen keyboard and then press the "Done" button. Your new clan tag will be saved, and it will show up in front of your name in your next match.
