How to Pick Up Fire Bottles in Red Dead Redemption on PS3

The action heats up quickly in the action-adventure game "Red Dead Redemption" during the "Demon Drink" main storyline mission. In this mission, the game's main protagonist, John Marston, is ordered to burn down a series of houses using fire bottles during a rebel ambush in the town of Tesoro Azul. This marks the first time during the main storyline that the fire bottle weapon is available.

Instructions

    • 1

      Head to the crate marked on the mini-map after you receive your orders from Captain Espinoza.

      Walk next to the crate to add fire bottles to your inventory.

      Press and hold the "L2" button to bring up the weapon wheel.

    • 4

      Select the fire bottle icon in the top-left section of the weapon wheel using the "Left Analog Stick."

    • 5

      Release the "L2" button. Marston will put away his currently held weapon and bring out a fire bottle.
