How to Disable Trophies on a PS3

The Sony PlayStation 3 is a video game and home media console released in 2006. With this console, you can create a profile on which you may obtain trophies, which are symbols of achievements you have accomplished in the game. Every time you get a trophy, a notification appears onscreen and a chime plays. Some people may find this disruptive, or they may not want it if they are recording something. You can disable notifications within the console's settings.

     Press "X" to sign in to your PlayStation Network account.

     Navigate left until you see "Settings."

   • 4

     Select "Display Notifications."

     Select "Do Not Display."
