Navigate to ̶0;Settings,̶1; ̶0;Network Settings,̶1; then ̶0;Media Server Connection̶1; in the PS3̵7;s XrossMediaBar. Select ̶0;Enable.̶1;
Launch Windows Media Player on your PC.
Click the ̶0;Library̶1; tab. Select ̶0;Add to Library.̶1; Click ̶0;Advanced Options.̶1; Click ̶0;Add.̶1; Browse to find any folder containing music, video or photo files that are not currently in your Windows Media Player library, but that you want to stream to your PS3. Click on the folder to select it. Click ̶0;OK.̶1;
Click the ̶0;Library̶1; tab in Windows Media Player. Select ̶0;Media Sharing.̶1; Put a check mark in the box next to ̶0;Share my media to.̶1; Windows Media Player will search for compatible devices connected to the same network. Click on the listing for your PS3 when it appears in the box. Click ̶0;Allow.̶1; Click ̶0;OK.̶1;
Navigate to the ̶0;Video,̶1; ̶0;Music̶1; or ̶0;Photo̶1; icon in the PS3̵7;s XrossMediaBar. Select the listing of your computer as a media server. If your computer is not listed as a media server, select ̶0;Search for Media Servers.̶1;
Browse to find the video, music or photo file you want to stream from your PC to the PS3. Select the file to begin streaming it live from the PC to the PS3.
