How to Edit a PSP eBOOT to Run on a PS3

The PSP runs eBOOT games, while the PlayStation 3 runs ISO games. This incompatibility makes it difficult to run PSP games on the PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 3 games on the PSP. Game modders seeking a way to overcome this restriction can change eBOOT files into ISO files with a third party program, enabling the new ISO file to run on a PlayStation 3.

  Download a copy of the PSP game from Sony.

  Download and install PSP2ISO onto your computer. This program converts eBOOT files into ISO files.

  Run PSP2ISO. Select "Open" and navigate to the eBOOT file of the digital PSP game that you downloaded.

  Choose the "Convert to ISO" option to create an ISO version of the game.

  Transfer the ISO file to a USB flash drive.

  Remove the flash drive from the computer and insert it into the PlayStation 3.
