How Do I Get New Armor in Demon's Souls?

"Demon's Souls" is an action role-playing video game released exclusively for the Sony PlayStation 3 platform. At the start of the game, your character dies and is sent to the Nexus in very basic armor. The vendors in the Nexus only sell you potions and similar items, meaning you can only find new armor as you play through the game. Once you find armor that your character can wear, you can change into it through the Pause menu.

Instructions

  Start a new game of "Demon's Souls" or load a previous save game if you have one.

  Touch one of the archstones in the Nexus to be transported to one of the outer worlds.

  Play through the level as normal. Sometimes, you can find armor in locked rooms or after you defeat the world's boss at the end of the level.

  Press "Start" and then "Right" to open the list of armor in your inventory. Highlight the armor you just picked up and read the stats that appear. These stats are prerequisites your character must meet before he can wear it. For example, heavy chain armor may require 25 strength to wear.

  Press "X" to equip yourself with the highlighted armor.
