Cheats for Endings and Decisions for Heavy Rain

"Heavy Rain" is an interactive drama video game released in 2010, exclusively for PlayStation 3. There are four lead characters in this game and each of them have their own reason for tracking down a serial killer known as the Origami Killer. Your decisions and actions in the game have consequences that eventually lead to different endings for all of the main characters.
  1. Ethan's Happy Endings

    • To see Madison Paige, Ethan Mars and Ethan's son, Shaun Mars, looking for a new home in the "A New Life" ending, survive with Ethan, don't get arrested at the end, save Shaun and fall in love with Madison. Do all of this expect falling in love and the ending, "A New Start," is Ethan and his son getting a new home. Get arrested at the end and save Shaun with somebody else to see the "Innocent" ending where Ethan and his ex-wife Grace reunite after he is released from his short stint in prison.

    Ethan's Sad Endings

    • To see the "Origami Blues" ending where Ethan commits suicide, survive, evade arrest, do not find the warehouse, reject Madison, let her die and do not save Shaun with anybody. Do everything the same except forgive Madison for lying to you and the "Tears in the Rain" ending is played where Ethan and Madison plan a life together, but Ethan still shoots himself due to immense grief. To see Ethan hang himself in prison in the ending, "Helpless," Shaun must die and Ethan needs to be arrested. If Ethan dies but Shaun survives, then Shaun mourns at his father's grave in the "Ethan's Grave" ending.

    Madison Paige

    • The "Dead Heroine" ending sees Ethan watch from afar as a news team films Madison's grave. Die with Madison and survive with Ethan to watch it.

Reject Madison with Ethan and save Shaun with anybody to see Madison become an author of a book called "Heavy Rain" in the "Heroine Survive" ending.

Die or get arrested with Ethan, give up or die with Norman and let Shaun die too. Madison hallucinates about people breaking into her home in the ending "Square One."

    Scott Shelby

    • To watch the "Unpunished" ending, then Scott Shelby, the Origami Killer, must survive the game and Lauren Winter needs to die in the chapter "Trapped." In this ending, Scott is seen walking down the street in the rain, a free man.

If both Scoot and Lauren survive the entire game then "A Mother's Revenge" ending is played. Lauren shoots and kills Scott for murdering her son in this ending.

"Origami's Grave" is an ending with two versions. If Scott dies in the old warehouse at the end of the game but Lauren survives, you will see her cursing Scott's grave. If both die, the ending will show a both the grave of Scott Shelby and the grave of Lauren's son, John Winter.

    Norman Jayden

    • Stay alive and get to the warehouse at the end. As long as anybody rescues Shaun, you get the "Cased Closed" ending. While this is the happiest ending, things do not turn out perfectly for Norman Jayden. The FBI agent is now famous and is seen appearing on a talk show. But he later starts to hallucinate due to his triptocaine addiction. In the "Resignation" ending, Norman resigns from the FBI. To watch this, survive and don't discover Shaun's whereabouts, but save Shaun with somebody else. For the "Smoking Mirror" ending, do the exact same thing expect don't save Shaun with anybody. Norman will talk to a virtual reality version of himself in the ARI system, but in real life he is overdosing. For the last ending, "Uploaded," all you have to do is die in the Mad Jack, Fish Tank or Old Warehouse chapters, when playing as Norman. Cater Blake will put on Norman's ARI glasses and see his virtual form.
