How to Redeem the Prize From an FF13 Card

If you've just purchased "Final Fantasy XIII" for the PlayStation 3 gaming console, you might notice a special type of card inserted into the game's packaging. This card has a unique numerical code printed on it that can be used to redeem a special gift from the Square Enix online service. You can redeem this prize through your computer -- not through your PlayStation 3.

Instructions

  Open your Web browser and visit the main "Square Enix Members" website.

  Click "Log In" at the top of the screen. Click "Register New Account" from the page that loads. Fill out the form with your full name, email address and any other information that is being asked of you. This will create a free Square Enix membership account, which is required to redeem the free gift that came with "Final Fantasy XIII."

  Return to the main "Square Enix Members" website. Click "Log In" and use the user name and password you just selected to sign into your account.

  Select "My Page" at the top of the screen. From the window that loads, select "Collection Settings."

  Click "Register." Type the code on your "Final Fantasy XIII" card into the box." Click "Preview" and "Submit" to register your copy of the game and unlock your free gift.
