How Do I Unlock the F1 GT5?

"Gran Turismo 5" is a PlayStation 3 racing-simulation game developed by Polyphony Digital. The game lets players race more than a thousand cars from real-world manufacturers in a variety of competitions and championships. GT5 also includes a Formula 1 racing car that players must qualify to purchase after completing races and earning sufficient credits. Although unlocking the F1 car takes plenty of time and patience, knowing the requirements will provide motivation to achieve your goal of racing the F1.

  Compete in every race, finishing third or above. You must receive the bronze award in every game in the race before the Formula 1 car becomes available for purchase. Some races require special licenses that must be earned in the game's license section.

  Keep racing until you earn 2 million credits. The S-Class Daytona race gives 34,000 credits for a win after just five laps of racing. The Formula 1 car rewards persistence and requires plenty of dedication.

  Purchase the Formula 1 car, the F2007, from the Ferrari garage. S-Class races do not accept the F2007 because of its specifications. All other racing categories allow you to use the car.
