Trophies earned through PlayStation 3 games, even when not connected to the Internet, can be synced to your PlayStation Network (PSN) account. As some PS3 owners do not have the capabilities to have their PS3 connected to a network and the Internet at all times, Sony included functionality to ensure that those owners would not lose earned trophies if they played a game while disconnected from online servers. This option ensures you will be rewarded for your progress in a game, even if you are disconnected from the Internet or you are playing somewhere where you cannot reach the PSN.

Press the "PS" button on your controller to turn on the PS3, and then sign into the account on which you earned your offline trophies.

Scroll to the "Game" menu using the left and right arrows on your controller.

Scroll to the "Trophy Collection" option using the up and down arrows on your controller.

Press the "Triangle" button on your controller.

Highlight "Sync With Server," and then press "X" to select it.
