Will My Logitech MOMO Force Feedback Racing Wheel Work With a PS3?

The Logitech MOMO Force Feedback Racing Wheel was developed as a table-top peripheral for racing games on your computer. As of November, 2010, because the wheel needs a computer operating system, it will not work on PlayStation 3.

  1. Requirements

    • The MOMO Force Feedback Racing Wheel is compatible with Windows 98 through Windows 7 operating systems. The device requires the download and installation of "Logitech Gaming Software" to function.

    Connection

    • The MOMO Force Feedback Racing Wheel includes a steering wheel and pedal. The device is powered by a separate power source and connects to a computer through an open USB port.

    PS3 Support

    • The PlayStation 3 was previously able to run a Windows operating system through the console. This feature was disabled in a console update released on April 1, 2010.

    Alternatives

    • Gamers who wish to use a Logitech Wheel that is compatible with Windows as well as PS3 can purchase the G27 Racing Wheel or the Driving Force GT.
