How to Watch Online TV Shows Through a PS3

Aside from playing video games, the PlayStation 3 is a powerful machine that lets you browse the Internet on your television screen. If you want a break from gaming, you can watch the latest episode of your favorite television show with just a couple clicks of your PS3 controller.

Instructions

  Turn on your television and PS3. You will be greeted by the main screen. Scroll left, using the arrow key on the PS3 controller, until you reach "Network." Scroll down the vertical list, until you reach "Internet Browser." Click the blue "X" button to select the browser.

  Push "START" once the browser loads. This brings up the onscreen keyboard and address bar. Puss the pink square button to delete the current address. Use the arrow keys to select letters on the onscreen keyboard in order to type in the website you want to visit. The easiest sites to use are television network websites that upload episodes the day after they air on TV. For example, "www.mtv.com." Once you have typed your web address, press "START" once more to load the site.

  Move the left analog stick to control the mouse, and the blue "X" button to click. You can navigate the website just the way you would on a computer. Find the television show and the episode you want to watch, and it will play right on your TV screen.
