How to Sync a Bluetooth to a PS3

The PlayStation 3 allows users to connect Bluetooth equipment to the PlayStation 3. The most popular Bluetooth equipment are the headsets, keyboards and controllers. Using the PlayStation 3&'s menu, the user can sync up the devices so the user can quickly use the new equipment. Once the Bluetooth hardware is synced to the PlayStation 3, the user should only need to turn the Bluetooth device on for the device to sync backup.

  Click "Settings," then "Accessory Settings" on the PlayStation 3 menu. Select "Manage Bluetooth Devices."

  Select "Register New Device."

  Put the device in its locate mode. This is normally done by pressing the Bluetooth button on the device. The button will vary depending on the Bluetooth device you are syncing. Select "Start Scanning" on the PlayStation 3.

  Select the device you want to sync. If there is a pass code, enter the pass code and click "OK."
