How to Download Music From Your Internet Browser on Your PS3

The PlayStation 3 is a high-definition gaming console developed by Sony. But it̵7;s not just for gaming and can play various types of media, such as Blu-Ray discs, and can even surf the Internet on its built-in Web browser. The browser offers most of the browsing features of a computer browser and gamers can even download music MP3s from websites and save them to the PS3 hard disk.

Instructions

      Open the Web browser and navigate to your desired MP3 download website.

      Search for your desired artists or song.

      Hold your cursor over the file link that will launch the download.

      Press the "X" button to bring up a menu on the right side of the screen.

      Select "File" then "Save Target."

      Select "OK," then "Start" to begin downloading the music file. You'll see a status bar displaying the download progress as it saves to the hard disk.
