Adding Money to a PSP Wallet

Whether you play video games with a PlayStation 3, or use the smaller handheld PSP, you have access to the PlayStation Store -- which sells everything from games to digital comics. The PlayStation Store operates just like a regular store, in that you need money to purchase things. That̵7;s where the PlayStation Wallet comes in. It stores money that you transfer from a linked bank account or credit card. This feature is excellent for parents who want to control how much their child spends.

Instructions

Select the ̶0;PlayStation Network̶1; icon from the main menu, located on the right of the menu crossbar. Select ̶0;Transaction Management̶1; from the list of available options.

Use the up or down arrows on your PSP, to select the set amount you want to add to your wallet. You can choose to add as much as $50 to the wallet at one time.

    • 4

Select ̶0;Continue̶1; to confirm the transaction. The money added will automatically appear beside the wallet amount when you visit the PlayStation Store. The money will be transferred from the credit or debit card that was set up with the account. Since the account is password protected, only the credit card or debit card holder will be able to access the account, to add funds to the wallet.
