My Pandora Battery Won't Boot

The Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) was released in 2005 and quickly came into the hacking community's spotlight. The Pandora battery is used to install custom firmware on the PSP. The Pandora battery puts the PSP into service mode, so the new firmware can be installed. If your Pandora battery is not working after repeated use, there is a quick fix that will get your PSP up and running again soon.

Instructions

      Remove the PSP's battery from the battery bay and insert the PSP's charging unit into the PSP's a/c port.

      Insert the other end of the PSP charger into the charging socket and turn the PSP on without any battery in it.

      Insert the Pandora battery into the PSP while it is still on and allow the Pandora battery to charge for at least three hours.

    • 4

      Remove the Pandora battery and remove the charger from the PSP. Insert the Pandora battery into the PSP with the PSP turned off. The PSP will go into service mode.
