How to Download Video Games to a PSP From an Xbox 360 & PS3

In addition to being both a powerful handheld gaming console and a versatile multimedia device, the Sony PSP has special connectivity to the PlayStation3. When connected with a USB cable, the PSP can download games from the PS3's online store. While the PSP is also capable of accessing the PlayStation Store wirelessly, the PS3 allows for faster and more reliable downloads.

Instructions

  Turn on both the PS3 and the PSP.

  Take the USB cable and attach the appropriate ends to the PSP and the PS3. The PSP will automatically enter USB mode.

  Access the PlayStation Store with the PS3. Input your account name and password to enter the online storefront.

  Select a game from the PlayStation Store's online catalog. Initiate the download. Do not interrupt the system while it is downloading the game.

  Once the game has downloaded, select it from the games section of the PS3 menu. Hold the Triangle button on the PS3 controller to see a list of options. Choose "Copy," and the game will be transferred to the connected PSP (providing the PSP's Memory Stick has sufficient space).
