Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker
The second canonical PSP title in the "Metal Gear Solid" franchise, the Kojima Productions-developed "Peace Walker" takes place four years after the events of "Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops." Focused on stealth-action gameplay spread over small levels, "Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker" features an extensive emphasis on co-op gameplay. Using a local network, up to four players can play through the majority of the game's levels cooperatively.
Monster Hunter Freedom Unite
The sequel to "Monster Hunter Freedom 2," the Capcom-developed "Monster Hunter Freedom Unite" features more monsters, weapons and missions, making it the largest game in the PSP "Monster Hunter" series. Focused on hunting increasingly difficult monsters and upgrading equipment, "Freedom Unite" is designed with co-op gameplay as a primary focus, with all content in the game accessible by up to four players over a local network.
PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe
Q-Games' "PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe" introduces the PlayStation Network "PixelJunk Monsters" tower defense game to the PlayStation Portable. Featuring gameplay focused on setting up towers to defend against waves of monsters, the PSP version adds in new monsters, towers and locations. "PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe" features online and local network co-op gameplay, allowing two players to play any level in the game.
SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 3
Developed by Slant Six Games, "SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 3" is the third PSP-exclusive game in the SOCOM series. Featuring strategic, team-based shooting gameplay, "Fireteam 3" features unlockable weapons and gear that players can use to customize characters. Supporting both online and local network connectivity, "SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 3" allows for co-op gameplay throughout the entire campaign.
