How to Put Games on a PSP 4.05

A modified PlayStation Portable (PSP) that is running the 4.05 operating system can play PlayStation 1 games. To do so, you need to copy the game disc to a PC using a CD copying program and then modify the file that was made using a special PlayStation mod program. There are a number of CD copy programs and PlayStation mod programs that have been created by PSP enthusiasts and can be freely downloaded. The procedure is straightforward and will not harm the PSP or the PC in any way.

Things You'll Need

  • PS1 game disc
  • USB PSP cable
