Things You'll Need
Instructions
Turn on the PSP system. Ensure the wireless LAN switch on the side of the console is enabled, or the system will not be able to connect to a Wi-Fi network.
Connect to the PlayStation Network Store by selecting "PlayStation Store" from the PSP menu. The PSP will prompt you to select a wireless network to connect to, if one has not already been chosen. Once connected to a Wi-Fi network, the PSP will connect to the PSN Store with your PSN account. If you do not have an account, the PSP will prompt you to create one for free. After adding your information and e-mail address, the system will connect to the PlayStation Network and access the store.
Access the PS One Classic by selecting "Downloadable Games" from the options available at the left of the store screen. Select "PS One Classics" from the menu to access the original PlayStation games available.
Choose the game you wish to purchase. Once the game is selected, highlight "Buy Now" and press the "X" button. The PlayStation Store purchase confirmation screen will appear. Select "Confirm Purchase." If your PlayStation Network wallet is empty, you will be prompted to add funds. Both PSN cards purchased at retailers and major credit cards can be used to purchase items from the PlayStation Network Store. Once funds have been provided, select "Confirm Purchase" to complete the process.
Download the game. Once you have confirmed the PS One Classic purchase, the PSN Store will direct you to a download screen. Selecting "Download" will save the game to the PSP&'s system memory. If you wish to download the item later, or download it again for free, the game can be accessed from the "View Downloads" button at the top right of the PSN Store screen. Games downloaded are accessible in the "Games" folder of the PSP&'s main menu.
