Things You'll Need
Instructions
Turn off your Sony PSP and remove the battery from the rear battery compartment. Remove the memory stick from the PSP memory stick slot.
Insert the Magic memory stick into the PSP memory stick slot with the device still powered off. Insert the Pandora battery into the battery compartment and the PSP will turn on by itself.
Press the "X" button two times to begin the firmware downgrading process. This will take a few minutes to complete. You will see the percentage of the completion on the screen. When it reads "100 percent," press the "X" button again to shut off the PSP.
Remove the Magic memory stick and Pandora battery. You are finished with these. Reinsert the normal battery and memory stick that you removed in Step 1. Turn the PSP on and your PSP will be running the downgraded firmware.
