Things You'll Need
Instructions
Flip the WLAN switch at the top of the PSP console to the "on" position. Press the "home" button to return to the main menu.
Confirm that you're using firmware 3.80 or later. Navigate left to "Settings," scroll up to "System Update" and press "X." The console will prompt you to connect to the Internet. If you've never connected to the Web before, select "[New connection]" and follow the on-screen prompts to select your router; otherwise, connect to your preferred wireless network. If you have trouble with this step, consult the guide in Resources. Wait for the PSP to download an update or tell you that you're up to date.
Return to the main menu and select "Network," and then scroll to "Internet Radio." Press X and then press again to select "About Internet radio." The PSP will connect to the Internet radio plugin page, whose link is listed in References.
Locate "Adding an Internet radio player" and select with "X." Wait for the new page to load.
Browse the available Internet radio players for your PSP device, and choose the one whose interface you like the most. Each of them has a slightly different look and feel, but they operate in a similar manner. Select "Add the player to Memory Stick Duo media" and press the "X" button.
Select "Accept" and press "X" to accept the end-user license agreement. If you have concerns about this document, read through it first to make sure it's something you can agree to. The Internet player will download and install itself on the PSP, a process that may take up to 10 minutes, depending on your connection.
Return to the home menu and head back to "Network," select "Internet radio" again and press "X." Select "Yes" when asked "Do you want to run the plug-in embedded in this page?" The Internet radio will load, and all of the stations will be available when you press down on the analog stick.
