How to Download Wallpaper & Themes for the PSP

The Sony PSP's XMB dashboard can be customized using themes and wallpapers downloaded from the PlayStation Store. The PS Store has a wide range of free themes and wallpapers as well as premium choices for purchase. You can choose from nature and artistic themes to custom themes created using thematic elements from bestselling and upcoming games.

  Power on your PSP and log in to your PSN account. If you don't have an account, the PSP will help you create one with a series of prompts and forms to fill out.

  Visit the PlayStation Store and browse the Wallpapers and Themes section. Choose a wallpaper or theme you'd like to download. If you choose a free one, you can download it right away. If you choose to buy one, you'll need to enter your credit card details before proceeding.

  Confirm your purchase and complete the checkout process. Once you do this, you'll see a Download button on the PSP screen. Select it and the wallpaper or theme will be downloaded to the PSP memory stick.

  Apply your new theme by navigating to Settings on the XMB dashboard and selecting Theme Settings. You'll find the theme in this sub-menu. Select and confirm to set the theme to your XMB dashboard.
