How to Put Video on a PSP Version 3.52

Connect your PSP to the device from which you wish to transfer video files, such as a computer or PlayStation 3. The Mini-B end of the PSP's USB cable connects to the PSP while the Standard-A end goes into the other device.

Turn on your PSP and navigate to the "Settings" tab. Select "USB Connection" to put the PSP into USB mode, which allows you to share content. The PSP will now show up on the device to which it is connected.

Find the video you want to transfer to the PSP. If you are transferring from a computer, this will be in the folder you have chosen to store your videos, such as the "My Videos" folder inside of the "My Documents" folder on your PC. For the PS3, all videos are stored under the "Video" tab in the Xross Media Bar.

Transfer the video to your PSP. If you are using a computer, right-click your mouse on the file and select "Copy". Then, open up the PSP, which can be found under the "Devices with Removable Storage" subhead in the "My Computer" folder. Right-click inside of the PSP folder and select "Paste" to copy the file onto your PSP. If you are using a PS3, highlight the video you want to transfer, select "Copy" and select your PSP as the device to which to copy the file.
