Things You'll Need
Instructions
Connect your Sony PSP to your computer using a USB mini cable. The cables do not come standard with PSPs and may need to be purchased separately. You'll find them in the video game accessories section in stores, and they are not expensive.
Place your Sony PSP into USB mode. This can be accomplished by going to the "settings" option on your PSP menu and then scrolling down to the "USB connection" option. Press "X" to place the PSP into USB mode.
Locate the PSP on your computer. It will be listed as a "removable disk drive" or "removable storage" or possibly as "memory stick media." Open it, and you'll be able to view the contents of your PSP memory stick.
Determine if you have a VIDEO folder on your memory stick. If the memory stick was formatted properly in your Sony PSP, this folder should already exist. If not, you can easily create it by right clicking on a blank area of the screen, selecting the "New" option and then clicking on the "Folder" option. Name the new folder "VIDEO" in all capital letters so that it will be recognizable to the PSP.
Transfer any video files you wish to view into this VIDEO folder. Then, disconnect your PSP and locate and watch the videos.
