How to Convert PSX Memory Cards to PSP

Sony has made it pretty easy to use all its video gaming devices together as one big happy family. This includes the PlayStation 3's ability to play PSX and PlayStation 2 games. Connect your PlayStation Portable to the device and you can now transfer all those saves from your PSX games to your PSP so you can play them on the go without starting over.

Instructions

      Turn on your PS3 and connect one of your controllers to it. You can use either a wired or wireless controller here. Turn on your PSP by sliding the \"Power\" button up.

      Connect your PSP to your PS3 with the supplied USB cable. Your PSP will automatically put itself into USB mode and connect to the PS3 file system.

      Navigate to the game section of the PS3 and select the PSX memory card from the top. Press the ? and select \"Copy to External Device.\" Select your PSP from the list that is displayed, and your PSX game saves will be transferred to your PSP.

      Disconnect your PSP and shut down your PS3. On your PSP, navigate to your PSX game and select it. You will now be able to load up the save data.
