How to Get the Cell Phone in The Sims 2 PSP

The cell phone item in "The Sims 2" is a vital bit of equipment for your Sim, and allows that Sim to make and receive calls even when he's away from home. You cannot purchase the cell phone, however. Instead, you will find the cell phone as you progress through the game's story mode with your Sim. It will be found toward the end of the Curio Shop portion, outside the shop and near your car.

Instructions

  Play through the game normally until you reach the Curio Shop portion of "The Sims 2."

  Enter the Curio Shop and talk to Mambo Loa. Agree to take her personality quiz. Complete the quiz however you desire.

  Satisfy one of your Sim's wants gained from the personality quiz, then talk to Mambo again to receive information about "Secrets."

  Talk to Bella Goth--the other person in the Curio Shop--until she tells you one of her secrets, then talk to Mambo again. Mambo will now instruct you to flirt with either Bella Goth or Deputy Duncan. Do so, then return once again to Mambo.

  Purchase food from Mambo and eat it, then exit the Curio Shop. Your car--which you drove here--will be gone, but the cell phone will be lying on the ground nearby. Pick it up to make it a permanent part of your inventory.
