How to Install a Wireless Play Tech PS3 Controller

The Playtech controller is a specialty gaming controller for the Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) gaming console. It offers functionality not found on a standard PS3 controller, such as boost and turbo powers, as well as advanced joystick features. Like many controllers, the Playtech is wireless. That means that you will have to configure the controller to your PS3 before you are able to use the unit.

  Power on your PS3 and remove the Playtech controller from its packaging. You should have the controller as well as the USB transmitter unit.

  Slide the battery door off the rear of the controller and ensure the battery compartment is filled with AA batteries. Replace the battery door.

  Plug the USB unit into one of the available USB ports on the front of the PS3 gaming console.
- 4
  Press the "Power" button on the front of the controller. The controller will automatically configure with the PS3 and be ready for use.
