How to Use Gameshark Pro

The GameShark Pro device allows users to modify the normal gameplay for the Nintendo 64 video game console by inputting and activating "cheat" codes. Whether you are in need of infinite ammo for a shooting game or wanting to unlock a level you have been playing countless hours to reach, you can enhance your gameplay within a matter of minutes with the GameShark Pro.

  Insert your GameShark Pro device into the cartridge slot on the Nintendo 64 console.

  Attach your Nintendo 64 game on top of the GameShark Pro device and turn on your Nintendo 64. Instead of the normal game menu, the GameShark Pro main menu should appear.

  Navigate through the options using the joystick and select the "Cheat Codes" option from the main menu. Find the title of the game from the pre-loaded database of titles already programmed in the GameShark Pro. Each title folder should have pre-loaded cheats already inside. If your cheat is not there, you can manually enter cheat codes using codes found at the GameWinners or GameGenie websites.

  Go back to the main menu and select the "Start Game" option. Your cheat codes will be activated and your game will start up as normal.
