Click "Start," "Internet Explorer" and locate and download the applications and drivers necessary to connect the controller: Libusb32 drivers, BtSix, a FreeBT driver, Microsoft Visual C++ Library, and PPJoy. See the Resources section to find the most recent versions of these files.
Double-click the Libusb drivers to install them on your PC.
Right-click the BtSix zip file and click "Extract" to extract the BtSix application using an unzipping utility. Click "Start," "Control Panel" and click "Device Manager." Right-click the listing for your Bluetooth device and click "Update Driver Software." Click "Browse..." and click to select your driver from a list. Select "Have Disk..." Click to your BtSix driver folder and click "OK" to sync the drivers with your Bluetooth receiver.
Double-click PPJoy to install it, and then double-click the PPJoy application to run it. Click "Add" and in the top window click "Virtual joysticks." In the controller number field, click "Controller 1."
Plug one end of the mini USB cable into the controller and the other end into your computer's USB port. The drivers automatically install. Double-click the BtSix application and note the hex code for your controller.
Unplug your controller and press the "PS Home" button to activate your newly synced PS3 controller. Open PPJoy and click "Options" to configure the buttons on your controller. All of the buttons have a corresponding place in PPJoy. For example, select the "X" button on screen and then press "X" on the controller when prompted.
