Call the front desk and ask whether it is possible to connect video game consoles. The clerk will know whether the back of the television is locked to prevent external devices from being used. If the television is locked, ask if an exception can be made so you can use your video game console.
Connect the audio and video cables to the back of the TV. These are the cables with the red, white and yellow heads. Plug them into the corresponding colored plugs on the back of the TV. You might need to use an RF adapter if the TV is older. In this case, screw the RG-59 cable (coaxial cable) into the RF adapter; then attach the RF adapter to the back of the TV. If you have an HDMI cable for your console and the TV supports it, plug it into the corresponding HDMI port.
Connect the console's power cable to the back of the console and into a working power outlet.
Turn on the TV, and switch to the appropriate input. You can usually find the input button on the TV remote or the TV itself.
