How to Connect a Pokemon Cartridge to a TV

Connecting your Pokemon cartridge games to play on a television can be done, but only for the Pokemon games released for the Game Boy and Game Boy Advance. You will need a Super Nintendo and a Super Game Boy or a Gamecube and a Game Boy Player. With those devices, you can play any of the first three generation of Pokemon games on your television. The fourth and fifth generation of Pokemon games cannot be played on a television because they were released for the Nintendo DS, which has a touch screen.

Instructions

Place the Game Boy player underneath the Gamecube and connect the Game Boy Player's connector to the rear of the Gamecube.
