How to Repair a Merit Megatouch Shut Down

When your Merit Megatouch game shuts down, you can try a variety of strategies to get it back up and running. A possible concern is that out of the many different methods you can try, only one or two are likely to solve your specific issue. However, if you take a generalist approach, you may be able to get your game turned back on faster and reverse the shutdown in the least amount of time. This is accomplished by checking the connections and then resetting the machine to its factory settings.

Instructions

    • 1

Check all electrical connections if the game does not turn on. This includes the power supply for the game, A/C and D/C harnesses, circuit breaker and the line cord. Check the voltage supply switch for proper voltage and electrical outlet reliability.

    • 2

Restore the game to its factory settings. Turn it off, press the "Setup" and "Calibrate" buttons at the same time and continue to hold both buttons down.

    • 3

Release both buttons in about 30 seconds when "Two Button Clear Detected Release Buttons" appears on the screen.
