Cheats for LEGO Batman the Video Game for Wii & Which Levels Are the Hostages On?

Batman is the main character of the 2008 game "LEGO Batman," but many other heroes and villains from Gotham City are accessible by imputing cheats into the computer in the Batcave. Players can also unlock bonus vehicles and special abilities with effective game play. An extra character appears after you collect the 25 hostages, which are scattered on specific levels.

Extra Characters
- Enter "ZAQ637" to play as Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce Wayne's loyal butler and confidant, or "DDP927" to play as Commissioner Gordon. You can also enter codes to play as the major villains' underlings. For example, "NKA238" unlocks Penguin's Goon, while "YUN924" unlocks Joker's Henchman.
Extra Effects
- Enter "WYD5CP" for invincibility. To attract studs, the game currency, enter "LK2DY4." Enter "N4NR3E" to double your score, or "18HW07" to multiply it by 10. You can also modify your weapons. "D8NYWH" will give you Flaming Batarangs, while "XPN4NG" will give you Freeze Batarangs.
Extra Vehicles
- Enter "LEA664" to pilot Bruce Wayne's private jet, or enter "DUS483" to joyride in a garbage truck. Enter "BTN248" for Penguin's submarine, "HAHAHA" to pilot Riddler's jet or "JUK657" to drive Joker's van.
Game Play Extras
- Some features available by completing missions include new playable characters like Catwoman and the Joker. Catwoman is accessible after "Chapter 2-2: Stealing the Show" and the Joker after "Chapter 3-1: A Surprise for the Commissioner." Extra vehicles are also available. For example, you unlock Scarecrow's Bi-Plane by completing "Chapter 3-2: Bi-Plane Blast."
Hostages
- The 25 hostages are on levels that do not center on a vehicle. For example, you can find hostages on "Chapter 1-1: You Can Bank on Batman" and "Chapter 1-2: An Icy Reception," but not on "Chapter 1-3: Two-Face Chase" which requires the Batmobile. Go to the level selection screen to see if you missed any hostages. A smiley face indicates they're all safe; a frowning face indicates a hostage remains in the area. After you collect all of the hostages, you can unlock the villain Hush.
