Wii Golf Putting: How to Hit Softly

The Nintendo Wii game "Wii Sports" includes a golf game that allows you to play all 18 holes of a golf course with a Mii character. You must swing the Wii remote to hit the ball as if holding a golf club. When you hit the ball onto the green, your Mii character will automatically select a putter, which you use to hit the ball into the hole. Successful putting in this game requires you to exercise caution and hit the ball softly.

     Press and hold the "A" button when ready to putt the ball.

     Bring the Wii remote back 2 or 3 inches.

   • 3

     Swing the Wii remote forward 2 or 3 inches. You will hit the ball extremely softly. If you need to put more power into your swing, bring your club back 2 or 3 additional inches.
