Things You'll Need
Instructions
Clean the disc if it is not working properly. Eject it from the Wii and check for dust. If there is debris on the bottom of the disc, use a soft cloth to wipe it away. Rub from the inside to the outside rather than in a circular motion to prevent scratching.
Inspect the cables to make sure everything is correctly installed into the Wii or the TV if you experience a lack of picture or sound.
Synchronize the balance board with the Wii if you experience connection issues. Remove the battery compartment underneath the board and push the red button there. Press a similar red button in the SD card slot on the front of the Wii. This will sync the peripheral with the console.
Check the batteries in the balance board both to make sure they are inserted correctly and that they have power. Insert a new set of four AA batteries and see if the balance board will now work properly.
Ensure that the Wii sensor bar is not obscured by your television if you have problems using your Wii remote to scroll through the "Wii Fit" menus. The sensor bar receives signals from the Wii remote, but will experience connection issues if there is not a clear path between the bar and remote.
