How to Beat Young Link's Target Test on Super Smash Bros. Melee

The "Target Test" is a minigame in "Super Smash Bros. Melee." The game, otherwise part of the fighting genre, features specific challenges for characters. As the character Young Link, you must use your inventory and special moves to navigate the minigame and destroy all 10 of the targets. Without moves like the Helicopter Blade and Wall Jump, you will not be able to conquer all of the obstacles in the way of completing the challenge.

Instructions

  Jump and perform the Helicopter Blade move to take out the first target. Use Wall Jump to get out of the area and drop from the edge to the right. Jump down onto the block after you reach the platform. Take out the second target.

  Jump back out of this area and move to the arrows. Make Young Link peer to the right side. Shoot a fire arrow at top power between the flippers for the third target. Jump onto the wooden platform and destroy the fourth and fifth targets. Turn right to find the sixth target. Perform a Helicopter Blade over the obstacle when it extends all the way up to take it out.

  Leap in the right direction off the platform. Perform a double-jump to the ledge to destroy the seventh target. Go back to the beginning platform and move to the left. Throw a boomerang left and swiftly jump onto the wooden ledge when you get to the box that contains the eighth target. Get back on the box and leap to the left. Move to the platform after the beginning area. Jump and throw a bomb at the highest point you can to hit the ninth target. Jump two times downhill and take out the 10th target as you move by.
