How to Unlock Wii Mario Cart Courses

"Mario Kart Wii," released by Nintendo in 2008, is home to a vast number of tracks, pulled from actual locations in the Mario franchise. Unfortunately, not all of these tracks are available right away. Gamers must play through the majority of the available tracks in order to unlock the hidden tracks. The good news is that there is not much practice required to perform this task. In no time, you'll be racing on the infamous Rainbow Road.

Instructions

- 1
  Get at least 3rd place overall in the Banana Cup and Shell Cup circuits to unlock the Leaf cup. Its hidden tracks will then become available.

  Get at least 3rd place overall in the Flower Cup and Mushroom Cup circuits to unlock the Star cup. The hidden tracks will become available.
- 3
  Score at least 3rd place overall in the Star Cup circuit to unlock the Special Cup. Its hidden tracks will then become available.
- 4
  Get at least 3rd place overall in the Leaf Cup circuit to unlock the Lightning Cup. The hidden tracks will then become available.
